Happy eighth birthday to Darcy Rose Byrnes
Darcy Rose Byrnes celebrated her eighth birthday on November 4, and she was thrilled when her parents surprised her with a special party at the American Girl store at The Grove, which is located adjacent to CBS.
“We went to the American Girl store, and it was just supposed to be me, my aunt, my mom and my dad. But then I saw my friend Mackenzie, and then I saw another friend of mine named Tara, and then I saw my friend Madeline! I was like, okay, this is either a surprise party for me or everyone’s here at the same time!”
Darcy is big American Girl fan, and working on Y&R has given her some special perks. “I had Felicity (American Girl doll), but then I worked at Y&R and they had Abby open up a Christmas present, and it was Kit, the American Girl doll, and they let me keep it,” she said happily. “And they also gave me two outfits!”
